Brain Medicine

to Maine

Brain Medicine is a medical specialty that unites neurology and psychiatry to more effectively and holistically treat brain-based disorders.

At Brain Health Maine, we put this integration into practice. We respect the complexity of people and honor the interconnectedness of their experiences - physical, mental, and situational.

Taking the time to understand and address this complexity is often the foundation of meaningful and lasting change.

Dr. Alyson Maloy, MD, founded Brain Health Maine as a center of excellence for integrated neurologic and psychiatric care. She offers compassionate, evidence‑based medical care for brain‑based disorders, which are psychiatric, neurologic, or a combination of multiple causes, in a comfortable, responsive setting. Her evaluations are comprehensive and examine all contributing factors to your condition. Her treatments are likewise comprehensive, including neurologic, psychiatric, and other perspectives to inform recommendations and tailor treatment.
